Far Cry 6 Silver Bars
It looks like Ubisoft is returning to its old ways with Far Cry 6. The upcoming installment in the first-person shooter series which is currently in development is said to be more akin to earlier Far Cry games rather than its immediate predecessor Far Cry 5. Ubisoft is making some big changes for Far Cry 6 which could be a smart move considering that many feel Far Cry 5 stepped a bit too far away from the themes that fans have come to love for some players.
Far Cry 6 Standard Edition
While Ubisoft has already announced Far Cry 6 they did not reveal a release date. However according to the game’s Microsoft Store product page it is coming out on May 25 2021. It’s not definitive proof but it’s about the best source short of an official Ubisoft announcement.Far Cry 6 is set in the tropical paradise of Yara. However life in paradise is not one long beach day with Mai Tais. The dictator Anton Castillo control Yara along with his son Diego. Castillo’s oppressive rule has sparked a revolution.
Despite this there's already been plenty of marketing for Far Cry 6 and players can expect to see it ramp up over the coming months. The Far Cry series has become well known for its interesting and charismatic villains and it's clear that Ubisoft put a lot of effort into making sure that the primary antagonist remains at the center of each game. However this is a tactic that may cause a big problem going forward. Just like the last two titles the marketing for Far Cry 6 is heavily focused on the game's villain so much so that the hero seems to be forgotten.
